(LIB) freut sich sehr darüber, dass er als Mitglied des „Zentrum für interreligiösen Dialog Berlin Moabit e.V.“ (ZiD) das öffentliche Fastenbrechen in Moabit im Rahmen des diesjährigen Fastenmonats Ramadan am 13.06.2016 gemeinsam mit weiteren lokalen Akteuren mitgestalten konnte.
Der Liberal-Islamische Bund e.V. (LIB) ist entsetzt und schockiert über das grausame Attentat im „Pulse“, einem Gay-Club in Orlando, Florida, mit über 50 Toten. Unser Mitgefühl gilt den Verletzten und ihren Angehörigen sowie den Hinterbliebenen der Getöteten.
Germany’s Liberal-Islamischer Bund e.V. (Association of Liberal Muslims, LIB) is appalled by the negative and hateful reactions that were evoked this week by aninclusive Friday prayer in Bern (Switzerland) which was organized by the Inclusive Mosque Initiative UK on the 27th of May. These reactions unfortunately mostly came from people with a Muslim background.
Inclusive prayers have been a part of the lived realities of the global Muslim Ummah for a couple of years already and they are based on Islamic sources and traditions. The LIB itself has also been organizing inclusive prayers like this in the past few years.
