Press Release: Alliance of Inclusive Muslims – AIM
The Liberal-Islamische Bund e.V. is pleased to have joined the global network of the Alliance of Inclusive Muslims (AIM).
A meeting with Ani Zonneveld, founder and chairwoman of Muslims for Progressive Values (MPV), laid the foundation stone for future cooperation and networking
LIB e.V. will become a permanent partner of MPV and a member of the worldwide engaging association AIM. AIM provides a strong voice for liberal-progressive Islam, highlighting initiatives and shared values of its member associations, such as the MPV in the USA and the MPF in France.
Furthermore, LIB e.V. has already established similar structures in its communities.
These involve the following offers to Muslims and friends, who are interested to join its activities and meetings:
– gender-egalitarian prayers
– equal rights
– a chance to freely practice your personal spirituality in the communities
– LIB equally welcomes all Muslims, regardless of their background or origin
– a liberal-progressive understanding of Islam
– in-depth and regular dialogues with Christian and Jewish communities
